I went back to an old beta forum and found notes about setting minimum fan speed, but that was way back on 6.0.1... :) FWIW, the path for these was in /sys/class/hwmon/device, and below I've dumped the values from fan* and pwm*, if it's interesting or helpful to the inquiry.
