[Solved] Will 3tb disks work with 2tb used on NV+ 1?
I have a NV+ which has been working fine for years with 4x2tb. Some performance issues, but most were fixed by switching to NFS.
The problem is one of the 2tb disks has been RMA'd, but the vendor hasn't received it, so I may have to purchase a replacement.
And since I know that in about six months I will replace the NV+ with a unit that supports bigger disks, I would like to buy a 3tb (or even 4tb) right now and save myself from buying an extra disk in six months. Will it work in the meantime? I know of course that it won't use MORE than 2tb, but will it be able to use the full 2tb so I don't lose any capacity?
