SSL Key Host IP Question

Just to clarify the HTTPS ports 1 and 2, the SSL Key Host is that the LAN IP or the WAN IP.?

Thanks

  • Disregard this post, turns out you use a WAN or a LAN or even a domain. Unfortunately, when it self assigns a SSL cert it's still the same result. The only decent thing is that you can use Port 2 to access Frontview if port 443 is being used e.g. if you have a website using HTTPS.

So for e.g. if you assign Port 2 a port no. 442, and port forward that new port on your router, you can then access frontview in your browser by entering:

    https://10.1.1.2:442/admin

    or

    https://<hostname of readynas>:442/admin
