Success w/ 8TB with WD80EMAZ in ReadyNAS Ultra 2 Plus
Just want to leave a note here (for future google searches) that I successfully installed 2 8TB WD WD80EMAZ (white label) in my ReadyNAS Ultra 2 Plus running ReadyOS 6.10.
The drives were shucked from 8TB WD EasyStore external enclosures.
These drives have the 3.3V disable pin on the SATA power connector that sometimes requires disabling with older SATA host subsystems and this was NOT necessary with my Ultra 2 Plus.
