Surveillance camera compatibility list 2+ years out of date. Any updates?
ReadyNAS Surveilance supposedly works again as of 6.6.0, but the camera compatibility list is severely out of date (mid-2014?). Many of the models listed unavailable or only available used. Can someone comment? Is there an updated list?

A protocol requirements list for the cameras would be better than updating the camera list, and require much less effort, BTW.
Suppose an alternative is just to buy a dedicated IP Camera DVR that can dump feeds to the NAS, but the less hardware the better. However, if Netgear is no longer updating the App or the compatibility list, then I will go that route.

You can draw your own conclusions from that.
Also of note, the ReadNAS Surveillance iOS App desperately needs updating.
