A HUGE thank you to Tonkinite for sending the spare chassis from USA to UK. No data loss, and everything also backed up to an external USB 3TB disk.
You have saved my life!!
Best wishes -- Peter

I'm offering these to anyone in the Community, not to Netgear. If anyone still is using these units, they would be handy as backup spare chassis, spare parts etc. I was using them until 9 months ago, so others may be as well.

I am interested in NV+. The reason is https://community.netgear.com/t5/Using-your-ReadyNAS/Recover-data-from-a-broken-ReadyNAS-NV-RND42210/m-p/1252214#M127011
The problem is that I am living in Stockholm, Sweden

Interested in one or both? We can probably figure out something. Lots of shipping companies that ship world-wide.

The label on my broken NAS NV+ says v4. Do you think it is still possible to load my 4 discs into a NV+ v1? By the way is it a 4 bays NAS?

Mine have 4 bays.
Think the early v1s had a Sparc processor (MSB). Later ones may have had Atom ones (LSB).
Ask one of the more senior guides, figure out if it's a possibility.
