The boot menu is driven from the lights/buttons - not the web. RAIDar would only tell you that the NAS is on the network and has no disks.
There's a small chance that the problem is the power brick. If you have one that is compatible, it might be worth a shot. If you want to throw more money into this well, you could buy one on-line.
