The error is because the browsers have dropped TLS 1.0/1.1 support, and the older NAS don't support TLS 1.2. BTW, accessing /shares works, because that is actually connecting with http - not https. The list is blank because you haven't configured any of your shares to use http as a file sharing protocol.
You can still access Frontview with Internet Explorer. There is also setting in Edge ("Internet Explorer-Mode") that will re-enable access. Though these are likely temporary, so you might want to grab an old version of firefox, and configure it not to auto-update. 94.0.2 will work. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/install-older-version-firefox
WhoCares_ has provided TLS 1.2 support via add-ons for 4.2.x and 5.3.x systems (details in the workaround link below) - but at this point there is no TLS 1.2 add-on for 4.1.x from anyone.
Another option is to change the NAS configuration to turn off the redirection of http to https. Then you will be able to access Frontview using http://nas-ip-address/admin from any browser. https will still give the error. Details on how to do this for 4.1.x systems are in the workaround link. Of course this means that there is no encryption on the web interface.

Thank you very much! Used the Internet Explorer-mode method and got access.
Guess it's about time to start looking for a newer NAS ;)

same problem while accessing data over ftp.
Error: "GnuTLS error -8: A packet with illegal or unsupported version was received."
Is there any workaround for the same.

What FTP client are you using?
Were you trying to connect with normal FTP (which is unencrypted)? Or were you trying to use FTPS or SFTP?
