Unable to connect to ReadyNAS User page

I am able to access the NAS through IP on my Admin account, I am able to configure users on ReadyNAS, hence I am not able to login the ReadyNAS through IP on the created user account.

How can I enable access through IP on user accounts?
Firmware version 6.9.4

    Hi Allinijhof

    Welcome to the Community!

If you are trying to login on the Administration page of your ReadyNAS using the User accounts created that will not be possible, only the admin account is allowed. You can allow a created user to have SSH access though.

    Hope this helps!

    Regards

Normally users access the NAS through Windows File Explorer or Mac Finder.

If you match the user account/password on the NAS to the PC login, then Windows will automatically connect with the right credential.  You can alternatively enter the credential in the Windows Credential Manager.

While the older 4.x NASes had a user web page, the OS6 one's do not.  The only possible reason I can think why Netgear eliminated this useful capability is to drive people toward using ReadyCloud even though they are local.
