Unable to set up ReadyNAS Duo RND2110v2
I have recently been "gifted" a Nas Duo RND2110v2 NAS. It has a serial number of 24M39B7J01AD6 it also has a sticker that says FW V4.1.6 which i assume to be the firmware version. Despite it sayi...
I'll wipe the partitions and try again.
So building and formatting of the partitions is done at start up?

If the disks are unformatted, then the NAS will format them and do a factory install when it is powered up. The factory reset does the same thing (just not automatically).
The OS and ReadyNAS application are also installed onto a small (2 GB) partition on the disks. After the install, the NAS boots from the disks.
