Update for Readynas 600 for WD 3TB?

I decided to try to breath some new life into my beloved Readynas 600 by replacing the 2TB Hitachi drives in it with 3TB WD Reds (4k)

Only.. They don't work. The NAS reads the drives, but thinks they are only 750GB.

I updated the firmware, and it went to 4.1.10, but they drives still aren't working at full size.

I did a little digging and discovered RAIDiator 4.1.10 (sparc), which I'm guessing is the same firmware used by the 600.

Sooooo.... Is there a firmware coming for it that will support the 3TB drives? Or a workaround to get them to work?

Or am I stuck with the 2TB drives?

You are stuck with 2TB drives.

You would need a new NAS to use the 3TB drives. I would recommend a x86 (Intel) model.
