Upgrade from NV+ to Pro 4 (RNDP4000)
To whom it may concern, I have an existing ReadyNAS NV+ (Sparc machine) that has served me well for about 4 years. However, when we moved, proximity to the ocean air in Hawaii has begun to take it...

1) No. Different RAID format: http://www.readynas.com/kb/faq/boot/how_do_i_migrate_disks_over_from_an_existing_readynas_to_another
You'll need to transfer the data e.g. across your network
2) Not really, the OS is quite different too. Best to manually configure the Pro.
3) You can see what it looks like in the hardware manual: http://www.readynas.com/docs

4) Vault and Egnyte are the only supported solutions.
