I can't help but think the humidity will also get to the other devices, maybe not the cases, but the connections as well. If you had a space where you could put a de-humidifier to pull the moisture out of the air it would help. In S. Georgia, the humidity is also normally very bad, and anything exposed to the air, even if not to the weather, will eventually show the effects. Unlike Hawaii, most of our living and working spaces are air conditioned. In the paper mill where I retired from as an Accountant the humidity is even worse in the mill because of the process, all the control rooms are climate controlled, not because of the people, but because of all the electronic control equipment.
