UPS Monitoring
I've just bought a Sweex Intelligent UPS 1000va which I'm using as battery backup for my NV+ and my PC.
I understand that it is not on the UPS compatibility list, but is there any way I can arrange to have my NV+ shut down gracefully if the power fails while I'm not present?
When connected to the NV+ via USB it is not recognised (however, if I unplug it the LCD display shows "UPS Disconnected" so it recognises it to some extent).
The UPS's bundled PowerView software claims to be able to shut down remote networked systems but I tested this and the NV+ did not shut down.
Anyone have experience with this model?
