USB to Serial Profilic PL2303
Hi,
im trying to use a USB to Serial device (Profilic PL2303). And i have installed some serial module but i can't find the PL2303 driver for
the ReadyNas Duo (Kernel 2.6.17).
Have anyone done this?
if i do
I have created a folder called "Serial" here : /lib/modules/2.6.17.8ReadyNAS/kernel/drivers/usb/serial
and added : usbserial.ko and ftdi_sio.ko modules and done
A cutout of the result:
I hope someone else have done this, and can guide me to the correct direction.

- ahpsi1TutorI believe it has been done but may require you to compile the module; see here -> http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=29027&p=329742.
- notsAspirantHi Ahpsi, yes i have read that thread, but i don't underastand where the module (pl2303) was found or is it included in the NV+ readynas Kernel?
I have read about some people using the Ipkg for example :
ipkg install kernel-module-pl2303
But then a new question comes up, how do i get Ipkg?
Im not a experienced Linux user :D
