Users can not access NAS
Since I purchased my Netgear NAS the users have not been able to access it. I have been asked to remove the system and find one that works. I thought I would make one last attempt at getting it ...

What NAS model do you have, and what firmware is it running?

I deleted all the users except the admin account, added 3 users and they still can not access the shares I have set up. They can ping the NAS, they can see it in file explorer, they (and I) have tried to log onto it with Chrome and MS Edge, and we all get the very same result, the "sign in access to site" window keeps asking for a user name and password.
You say they can "see it" in file explorer. Does that mean they can access the shares when using file explorer? If not, does entering \\nas-ip-address\sharename in the file explorer address pane work (using the real IP address and a real sharename of course)? Be careful to use the correct slash direction (using the wrong one will open your browser).
When using Chrome/Edge, have you enabled http access for the shares? https://nas-ip-address/admin requires admin credentials, but https://nas-ip-address/sharename should work.
