VMware Support & NO_ROOT_SQUASH
I want to use the ReadyNAS Duo as my datastore for VMware ESX 3.5. Is the ReadyNAS Duo compatible with VMware? And does the Ready NAS support NFS? Also, does it support the NO_ROOT_SQUASH option? ...
I plan to use it for VM's. This is for a lab environemnt where I'm not too concerned with performance. Will the Duo be adequate? Obviously I'm trying to keep the cost down. Can you give me a ballpark estiimate of the price difference between the Duo and the two other models you recommended?
