VMware Support & NO_ROOT_SQUASH
I want to use the ReadyNAS Duo as my datastore for VMware ESX 3.5. Is the ReadyNAS Duo compatible with VMware? And does the Ready NAS support NFS? Also, does it support the NO_ROOT_SQUASH option? ...
I'm trying to create a new VMware datastore on my ReadyNAS Duo. I created a new share on the NAS device called Datastore2 and added my ESX host IP address to the "Root-privileged enabled hosts" list. I'm getting an error message saying "The following hosts do not have NFS access to [Datastore2] and are therefore removed from the root privilege-enabled hosts list". What am I missing???
