VMware Support & NO_ROOT_SQUASH
I want to use the ReadyNAS Duo as my datastore for VMware ESX 3.5. Is the ReadyNAS Duo compatible with VMware? And does the Ready NAS support NFS? Also, does it support the NO_ROOT_SQUASH option? ...

NFS service is not enabled by default for new shares. You'll need to manually enable it by clicking on the icon in the NFS column on the Share List page and set up default access.
