Volume Backup on ReadyNAS OS6 to another ReadyNAS os6
Need to Backup entire volume of RN314 to RN104 on a Schedule basis using the Built in Backup option . When i configure volume backup from 1st to 2nd NAS , the snapshots also gets copied and makes the backup progress very long and do not get completed . Just shows "In Progress always" and only Home folders gets copied .
Is there a way to do thru Rsync ? There is options to exclude folder on Rsync . Pls advice .

- My guess is to create Backupjobs for the individual shares and not for volume /data.
I am using the rsync option for the backupjobs and it works really well. No shapshots in the backups detected.
Another advice is to disable snapshotacces when it is not needed, coz i read somewhere on the forum that that allso spoils it. - vandermerweMasterYes that's right. Backup by share gives you more versatility and if using rsync you simply exclude the snapshot folder from the backup when you set it up.
