WD 10EARS Green hard drive for DUO-V2

I just wanted to ask if the WD 10EARS-? Green drives work well in the ReadyNAS DUO-v2?

I am trying to build a Duo-V2 I have for my Brother and need to buy 2x 1TB drives for it. I think what causes me concern is that many of the suggested hard drives on the current HCL do not seem to be offered/sold any longer at newegg.com. No I have not checked Amazon, Provantage, or MicroCenter yet.

I accept that there have to be some dedicated NetGear folk that work to qualify hard drives for the various ReadyNAS HCL's, but it sure seems like many of the HCL's are sadly out of date. Well, maybe 1TB drives are moving to EOL status also. Just do not know.

Get a WD RED WD10EFRX instead. It is just as green (probably a bit greener), much newer, and has no issues with TLER or load cycle count. It is on the HCL and is in-stock at Newegg and Amazon.

It also has a better warranty btw.
