It's possible that the 4TB Red drive behaves differently from the 3TB Red drive: Everyone who has posted on the topic here (which sounds like a lot of people, but so far is just me and one other guy) has reported that the 4TB drives are configured with a very low Idle3 Timer value, which causes them to park their heads so frequently -- multiple times per minute -- that they will reach their maximum rated Load Cycle Count in only six months or so.

The 3TB Red drives do not exhibit this behavior, nor do the 4TB Seagate ST4000VN000 drives.
