What to replace ReadyNAS NV+ v1 with
Hi All, So my NV+ v1 just had the PSU go boom... when I searched on the forums it seems there is a work around by re-wiring anATC Power Supply, but not sure I'm up for this, and it is an opportunit...
The new NAS won't recognize the old disk array. So you will need to give up on that idea. You can mount them on an x86 linux system, and copy the data off.
The RN200 and RN300 lines both have 4 bay models, and both are capable of running plex with transcoding. Best transcoding performance would be with the 6-bay RN516.
