Why can't I use 2TB in my ReadyNAS Duo?

Thanks, but this didn't seem to work. here is what i did, I attached an USB adapter to the disk, reformat it in win7 using MBR partitioning(instead of GPT, now I can only have 1 primary partition of 2TB with NTFS). re-insert the disk, it would show a "corrupt root" error so I did a factory reset (holding reset for 30 secs while powering up).
but after all this, it still show up 742 GB allocated, any idea? I also tried wiping out the partition table (w/o reformatting).
