Wrong checksum by updating to Raidiator 4.1.13 on Duo v1
Hello,
i try to update my READYNAS DUO v1 (2110) to new Raidiator 4.1.13 by a local update. therefore i download the RAIDiator-V4.1.13 with different browsers and on different computers (Mac OS X an Win 7), but everytime i try to do the update after upload the RAIDiator i got the error "wrong checksum".
Any ideas?

- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserYou unzipped the download?
- chirpaLuminaryAs StephenB mentioned, the kb.netgear.com site for some reason zips all the files. You have to unzip it, then upload the RAIDiator-4.1.13 file.
- netjazzerAspirantThanks, but i have unzipped it. thought it was an unzipping error and because of this, i tried it on different systems, but without any success.
it is not my first update, but the first with problems...
Any other ideas? - StephenBGuru - Experienced UserDo you have ssh enabled?
- netjazzerAspirantNo,there is no ssh enabled. Seems that i have problems by installing add-ons, too. but there is no error message when i tried to install enabled-ssh, it only doesn't work. there is no sshd after the reboot after installing...

Sorry, I am a bit confused on what you are saying. Normally you install the sparc add-on from here: http://www.readynas.com/?p=4203 Then you access the NAS using a tool like putty, logging in as "root" and using the NAS admin.netjazzer wrote: ...but there is no error message when i tried to install enabled-ssh, it only doesn't work. there is no sshd after the reboot after installing...
Perhaps try deleting the log files via frontview, and see if that helps? - netjazzerAspirantYes, i downloaded and installed it as mentioned above, but it seems to be not "normally". because of i can not access the readynas with putty or on a linux/Mac terminal (ssh root@192.168...(ip from readynas) i am looking for the sshd on readynas with nas monitor-tool.
so, what is confusing on that, except for my english?
and what should happened, if i will delete the logfile?
anyway, does anybody out here know, how to delete the uploaded firmware-file? every time after a reboot since the error occured, i got this error without uploading before. seems that the firmware-file would not be deleted after determine the wrong checksum.
Bye
netjazzer - StephenBGuru - Experienced User"looking with the nas monitor-tool" is what I was missing.
Maybe try installing the add-on once more? I believe that it is a 'toggle" - meaning that if it was already installed, the "install" will actually uninstall.
One possible cause of this type of failure is that the OS partition on the NAS is full. Deleting the log files (system and backup) will free up some space. - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredYour OS partition is probably full or there is some other problem. Occasionally there are issues when installing root SSH e.g. the /etc/passwd file might not be edited correctly. If the OS partition is full then /etc/default/services might not be edited correctly.

Thanks StephenB, that it is!
The "/"-Partition is at 100% (also got it from nasmon/vpsinfo ;-))! My problem now is, how to delete something without ssh-connection? Is there a way to do this with frontview?
