addons-config & webroot password protected
Hi
Anyone managed to solve the problem of the addons-config and webroot folder prompting for a username and password when you try and open the folder through windows explorer.
Ive got Transmission 2.22 installed, and am trying to get to the settings.json configuration file in the addons-config share. Ive checked in Radiator, and the shares are showing as having a password configured on them. Ive uninstalled and deleted the shares manually a couple of times, and the same problems keep coming up when I reinstall.

- what is you security mode on NAS ?
- Hi - The security mode is set to "Share"
- that's why you have such popup.
Switching to user mode will solve this - Thanks that worked fine :D
- So you simply can't access the addons folder while in "Share" mode? I have to switch each time I want to edit anything in that folder? Seems odd to me.
- Share mode is EOL'd. You should migrate to User mode permanently.
