Can't add remote access user

NV+V2 5.3.6 I enter an email into the search box after hitting the "+". When I hit search I am told user doesn't exist, would I like to send an invitation. I hit yes but the original search box doesn't disappear and the email address doesn't show in the list. I have to click the X to close the search box.

Email is never sent. Test emails from the alerts panel do work. Any ideas?

  • Upon downloading the P2P log, I see the following error occur when I try to create a user: Bind error: Address already in use

    I saw someone else having trouble adding users, but they got further along than I did.

  • msingewald, did you ever get a response from netgear regarding this? I have the same issue on both my NAS.
  • Still not working on 5.3.7. Tried IE and Chrome, doesn't seem to be a browser issue. Pretty silly that this doesn't work when the whole ReadyDROP thing works off these users? At least I think they do, haven't gotten that far to find out it doesn't work either.
