dropbox installer
does this addon automatically install the latest dropbox linux release, or only a particular version?
does the dropbox linux release update itself, or is it required to pay for another 'dropbox installer' ?

- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredAlso can you do
MDGM-NAS:~# ls -la /tmp
MDGM-NAS:~# df -h - AMRivlinApprenticeif you think it can be fixed remotely, let me know and ill give u ssh/remote login
- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredProblem was that the NAS thought it was in 1992. Sounds like a bug with one or more of the NetGear time servers.
Changed the time server under System > Clock following the suggestion here: viewtopic.php?p=349858#p349858 - AMRivlinApprenticeJust want to thank mdgm for his above and beyond help (even though it was a simple error, he figured out the obscure issue) And thanks to whocares for the development, billing support.
- Is there any way possible this addon can be updated so that when you click the 'link' icon, it will open the applicable web page, instead of opening a modal dialog box with the link which can not be copied and pasted?
even better if would simply relink automatically.
every time I relink it adds a new instance of the nas, instead of reusing the same instance (dropbox website > settings > my computers > unlink) - WhoCares_MentorTo answer your question first: No that's not possible because that would mean you'd have to enter your Dropbox credentials and there'd have to be some sort of database to be able to tell what credentials to use for what user account on the ReadyNAS. Also, if you unlink a Dropbox, then restart the daemon, it will always calculate a new hash for the device to be linked. There's no (known) way to tell the daemon to re-use an already known hash for the device. As fas as I know this is "as designed" to make it possible to run different instances for different users on the same hardware. I'd have to try again with a standard dropbox install but I believe the behavior is the same there.
