End-of-Life Announcement for ReadyNAS Photos I

I am very disappointed that this is being discontinued. Being able to host pictures from my house of our twins so my family can see them in other states has been invaluable. Now, that this is being discontinued, and no means to upgrade to a newer NAS, I am at a loss. I sincerely hope that either a new solution is developed for this wonderful service, or there is some way to make the DUO compliant with Photos II.
It broke my heart to see this announcement, knowing that I will have to find some other way to share 1000's of pictures with my extended family.
Please, please, please, try to come up with another solution, or find a way to make the DUO capable of handling Photos II.
