This is complete rubbish! I had considered a similar product from Apple, but the ReadyNAS Duo promised a lot as a product and I had considered NETGEAR to be a top brand. Now a really basic feature for home usage has been buggered on this platform. It is not good enough to just blame it on the third party. The ReadyNAS Duo is your product, you advertised it with this features and then you remove these features within months of me buying the product. The only reason you are sticking to the "it's not our fault" line is because you don't want a stampede of people asking for their money back. But by all means ignore your customer base and tell them to post their moan elsewhere :slap:
And to make it bloody worse, then you click on "Install ReadyNAS Photos" from "Services->Installed add-ons" it takes me to http://www.readynas.com/?page_id=61 which does nothing to warn me that I'm wasting my time with the Duo. Instead when I click on the download URL http://www.readynasphotos.com/cas/install/ReadyNASPhotosInstallerWithJava.exe it brings me to a "Not Found" and then for a real laugh I navigate to http://www.readynasphotos.com/ I get the message:
"It works!

The web server software is running but no content has been added, yet."
