Google Drive for ReadyNAS
Heya Folk,
Is anyone working on a Google Drive Addon project for Intel and Arm ReadyNAS?
Is there an Addon Developer who could give me an estimate on the costs of building such an addon?
TIA
Dom

- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredNo Google Drive for Linux = No possibility of an add-on at this time.
Once there is Google Drive for Linux then it's a possibility depending on the requirements of the software etc. - LiFersTutorHmm I was writing a "that makes no sense" post when I realised Google Drive does not have an API suitable for 3rd party apps yet:

Ahh well, keep on waiting. - KWheelerAZAspirantI think we may be seeing some headway. Check this out y'all: https://www.insynchq.com/
More specifically, on this page there's a Linux version in Beta: https://www.insynchq.com/download
Clearly somebody's figured out how to use the Google Drive API's ...
Hope springs eternal. :-) - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredThat might be some progress but it would be better if there is a Debian version of that client (though Ubuntu is based on Debian). Also can you enable/configure that client completely via CLI?
- bretthAspirantInsync is working on a NAS support and builds for ARM.
For updates goto: https://www.insynchq.com/linux - davidlang42Aspiranthey guys,
I felt this thread requires an update as there are now open source google drive clients for linux, here is a particularly good one: https://github.com/Grive/grive
It operates fully by CLI, so shouldnt be too hard to implement as a readynas add-on....
could someone:
a) do this for me (and everyone else here)
b) describe briefly how to MAKE an add-on so i can do it myself (I am a programmer, and my brother is an expert is bash scripts)
thanks! davidlang42 wrote: hey guys,

Basics should be found in here, things like Getting Started etc... viewforum.php?f=35- AmienAspiranti really like to have an addon for this!
- ethanhunt202AspirantCould do with one for Google Music Manager too. Then life would be complete
