Google Drive for ReadyNAS

Heya Folk,

Is anyone working on a Google Drive Addon project for Intel and Arm ReadyNAS?

Is there an Addon Developer who could give me an estimate on the costs of building such an addon?

TIA
Dom

No Google Drive for Linux = No possibility of an add-on at this time.

Once there is Google Drive for Linux then it's a possibility depending on the requirements of the software etc.

That might be some progress but it would be better if there is a Debian version of that client (though Ubuntu is based on Debian). Also can you enable/configure that client completely via CLI?
  • Insync is working on a NAS support and builds for ARM.

  • hey guys,

I felt this thread requires an update as there are now open source google drive clients for linux, here is a particularly good one: https://github.com/Grive/grive
It operates fully by CLI, so shouldnt be too hard to implement as a readynas add-on....

    could someone:
    a) do this for me (and everyone else here)
    b) describe briefly how to MAKE an add-on so i can do it myself (I am a programmer, and my brother is an expert is bash scripts)

    thanks!
