  • I'm in the process of setting up a ReadyNAS Pro 4 with Egnyte and I'm running into a problem at "Step 2" - I don't see any users listed under either Local or Egnyte users. I've got the ReadyNAS getting users from AD, and i've populated Egnyte with 4 users with IDs that match the AD logins. This setup is just for testing for now, I'm hoping to use SAML on the egnyte side soon.

So, am i missing something? Could it be the credentials i'm using currently to log in to either service (both are admins)?. Please advise.

    Thanks,
    Rich
  • Hi Rich

This issue requires troubleshooting and would be best if Support can contact you directly. There could be several reasons why users are not populating on the NAS, ranging from the browser used to incorrect AD parameters.
Either submit a ticket here, or PM me with your contact info and I'll have someone from support directly contact you.

  • Thanks for the quick response Johnny. Just to be clear, the AD users are showing up on the readynas, but I don't see them (or my egnyte users) in step 2 of the process. In any case, i'll open a ticket. Thanks again!
  • No problem, I'll be sure to let the support person know. Can you give me your ticket # so I can personally follow up?
  • Thanks Johnny! Request #63344. I have a call setup with Don Davis today and we're going to review it. Meanwhile, the NAS is starting to act more like i expected it to - previously new shares weren't showing up in the shares list either. I suspect that the sudden spontaneous volume expansion and c drive resync yesterday might have something to do with it. I will re-test the egnyte setup.
  • Glad to hear that, and if you're on the call with Don you're in very good hands :D
