Initialization failed - error code -3
I can't get the ReadyNAS Remote to work on Windows 7 Enterprise Ed x64 (it worked perfectly on another XP x86 machine of mine). The suggestion to load Leaf ontop on Remote I found on this thread......
About readynas remote error 3 in Windows 8. It would not install the software and I always got an error 3 when every I asked to open the readynas remote application.
I have windows 8.1 Pro on this computer and was unable to install readynas remote in windows 8, was asking for a file that I suppose was on a CD of which it was not. The logic letter it was asking for was for the CD/DVD unit. I then looked at the details on this file it was asking for from a CD/DVD unit, changed the logic letter from E: to C: it installed the readynas remote software and all is working fine.
