Manage Remote Gives Blank Screen

Right, I just tried using CIFS and this time I got a note saying "getting shares" which appeared positive, however, after a few moments, I was presented with a blue folder icon followed by to dots. I press this and I am back to the ReadyNAS icon....which I press and am returned to the folder icon....this repeats indefinitely.
On my PC, I have a 'new' folder called "ReadyNAS Shares" in to which I can placed a small image file but this is not available to me on the andriod device.
Anything else you need? ta
