One of Two Nas is disabled
Hi,
First problem: I created 2 tasks (for replication). They are visible on Jobs menu (https://www.replicate.readynas.com). But now they are disappeared from "Monitor Menu".
First task planned at 23PM
Second task planned at 2AM
The second task doesn't work anymore (no mail and no report). but my first problem may be related to the second
Second Problem : I use 2 Readynas 102 and I use Replicate Add-on. The readynas are on two separate sites.
when I log on to the web interface of ReadyNAS Replicate, I see my two NAS but after a few hours one of two NAS (always the same) is disabled. When I make a power Off/Power On 2 NAS go enable (for few hours).
Firmeware : 6.1.9
Thks

- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredDid you purchase this NAS recently?
Have you tried contacting support? - babe59AspirantYes, the 2 NAS were purchased very recently.
No, I have not contacted any support. What is the support concerned? - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee Retired
- TonVAspirantI have exactly the same problem: my local RN104 shows up in Replicate and I keep losing my remote RN102 in Replicate.
I have had several online chats with support a few days ago, they managed to delete all my jobs but apart from that I still have the same issue.
My theory then, and now even stronger, is that there is a problem on the ReadyCloud/Remote web server, not with my (nor babe59's) devices!
Both devices show up fine in ReadyCloud and Remote, but I keep losing my RN102 in Replicate, while still being available in Remote/ReadyCloud..
@mdgm: can you please look into this? - babe59AspirantHi TonV, I call to the support today and he told me to make the following manipulation : On readyNas web page. Go to CLOUD menu. Activate "ReadyNas Remote" (if no)
- click on "settings" (for readynas remote). Chose "Security" item. Activate incoming connexion (sorry for my English) : protocol TCP / Port 6300
Since a do that, my my remote is still active. Unfortunately, now it is the turn of my other NAS to be disabled.
I'll do the manipulation described above, on Monday on this other NAS... - babe59Aspirantdon't forget to configure the router for port 6300 (Port forwarding) !
- TonVAspirantThanks babe59, I hope this works but I find it hard to believe, mine was stable for months and started failing only a few days ago.... Remote, Readydrop and ReadyCloud working fine, only Remote not working on my RN102. I've also seen my RN104 disappear too :-(
