Yes indeed! If you find out how to change the temp directory location I'll be doing that too. But at least for now, while transcoding, I've got 67% free space on the root volume, and the transcoded video segments are all under 2MB (the client is a tablet so it's going to a low resolution/bitrate). It chugs along and the utilization of the root volume never changes appreciably.
