Hello miaomiaou,
So it just sees your NAS but won't connect, right?
Please make sure to turn off firewall security software on the computer, that most of the time blocks the app from connecting.

I checked: nothing with the firewall. The app is allowed through. No change, I can "login successfully". But the "device is offline" and the connect button doesn't react

Hello miaomiaou,
Please try setting static DNS address on the NAS like 8.8.8.8 and check if it will make any difference. Have you tried using different readynas remote account for isolation?
