I recently purchased a ReadyNAS Duo v2 and when I go to the add on tab to install readynas remote and click "get" a message comes up saying installation in progress, please wait for confirmation. I have waited over a day and it still says this. I have also done a factory reset and the message is still coming up. Please let me know if there is any additional information I can provide to solve this problem.

It should install fine. After attempting to get the add-on what do you see under Health > Logs after say 15 minutes?If you have email alerts configured do you get an email about successful add-on installation?If you clear your web browser cache (e.g. Temporary Internet Files in Internet Explorer or Safari > Empty Cache in Safari) close your web browser then reopen the dashboard and click configure do you see Remote under Add-ons > Installed?

I have the same problem with Readynas remote not installing on a my Duo v2.After clicking on the add button there is nothing added to the health logs.I have factory reset the DUO v2, wiping both my 2x2tb drives and setting up from scratch but still no go with installing readynas remote.

Same problem - seems consistent.

I have the same problem with Readynas remote not installing on a my Duo v2.

i use chrome but i have also tried it with firefox 6.02 and ie 9.08
none help with gettin this to work.

I mainly use Chrome but I have tried IE and I am still getting the same results.

i should add when i first got my readynas duo V2 this installed with no issues but then i had reason to do a factory restore ( i added previously formated disks) and since doing this restore readynas remote wont install. Other than that nothing is any different from the first time it did install.

Did you delete the partitions (e.g. using a PC) on those previously used disks before adding them?

The drive I am using was originally sold as an external hard drive so as far as I know there weren't any additional partitions. However I was under the assumption that once a factory reset was performed the drive would be reformatted anyway.
