Contact to Netgear support to deactivate licences on Netgear server. This is usual practice.

Payment is not required for licence reactivation. I paid nothing.

Hi there,
As Puffdanny asked, I too am keen to get a step by step guide on how you got hold of support to reactivate your license key as I am in the same boat following a rebuild of NAS. When going down this path http://www.netgear.com/support/contact.aspx all I end up with is "pay us some money".
