Replicating different files structures?
I have just purchased a RN314 to backup my Ultra 4 plus. They have different file structures.
Using Replicate I created a job to backup my "c:\Media\Music" folder on the Ultra to the "Music" folder on the 314, thinking I would just get the contents of my music (folders and files) from one to the other. i.e. c:\media\music\blackeyed peas\.... would come across as music\blackeyed peas.....
It seems that the copy (called "Daily Music Backup", and still running) is creating the complete file hierarchy of the Ultra from the root downwards, into the "music" folder as follows: music\Daily Music Backup\2013-12-28\foed3185-9999\c\media\music".
Is this expected behavior? Is it something to do with having snapshots or revisions turned on?
I just want to have a copy of one folder onto the other NAS....
Any help for a Replicate n00b would be appreciated.

- jdoteroTutorI am having the same issue. I find this highly undesirable in my application of Replicate. Does anyone have a solution?
- PaladaxAspirantI am having this exact same problem. Any solutions for the Netgear experts out there??
- PaladaxAspirantI have been speaking with Netgear about something else and I asked them about this. They said that the Replicate service (despite it's name), is a backup solution, so it will intelligently keep multiple copies based on date, it is not meant as a sync tool. And that you should use Rsync for that.
I guess that is their way of saying that no, it won't work if the one system has a different file structure and you are trying to replicate it to another system.
