Restore Transmissions active torrents after reset/reinstall
How to restore Transmissions active torrents after factory reset.
Reinstall Transmission and stop it.
Copy the contents of Transmissons addons-config torrents and resume folders. Of course all files in /media/Bittorrent/Incomplete folder should also be copied from bakup.
Start Transmisson. Enjoy
I used rsync to copy them from backup to the new installation.
Note: Transmisson was very picky with files. First I tried to just copy the whole /addons-config/Transmission folder but it didn't work. Some files had different persmissons, when comparing backup and new. Strange. So just take what's really needed.
Reinstall Transmission and stop it.
