  • You can try to use Automatic. It's a pretty old version, but it still works for me. There are a few threads on the forum on how to configure it if you can't figure it out.
  • Thanks JarnoG, looks promising!

To configure automatic rename the file /etc/automatic.conf-sample to /etc/automatic.conf and edit the contents as needed.

Here is one of the help threads:

  • Hi Eton,

I am currently using Flexget. It takes a little bit of time to get it configured for exactly what you want it to do, but there are a lot examples on their website. You can find the ReadyNas installation instructions at http://tinyurl.com/3lms32o. Their Cookbook has tons of useful information.

    Best of Luck

  • Hi,

I would like to use Transmission on port 80, not on port 9091 (because of university's proxy for example...).
How can I do this ?
  • Transmission doesn't use port9091, it's listening on that port for connections to the command interface. The actuall torrent trafic takes pace on a range of ports defined in the settings.json
If you want to change the ports, for transfers, or controll interface, it's a matter of changing those settings in the .json, just turn transmission OFF first. (In Frontview)
