rTorrent + RuTorrent + RSS plugin addon
I would like to request rTorrent + RuTorrent + RSS plugin.
Looks like uTorrent, it seems to me that this would be the best frontend for rTorrent and the best client bit-torrent.

1. RPC - a plug-in for linking rtorrent and a web server. (Replacement for mod_scgi).

2. erasedata - adds "Delete with the data" to the right click context menu.
6. RSS - realizes operations with RSS-feeds.
10. cookies - allows to define a set of cookies for trackers which use such method of authorization.
14. datadir - allows to change the torrent's data directory.
21. Diskspace -- Shows remaining space on the bottom bar in an easy to read fashion.
23. _getdir Plugin -- this plugin helps rutorrent find and render directories.
25. Chunks -- This plugin shows info on torrent pieces (which pieces have downloaded).
3. darkpal - A ruTorrent Theme with dark colors designed to burn your eyes.
12. scheduler - allows to change speed limitations of downloads/uploads depending on hour of the day and day of the week.
18. Show_peers_like_wtorrent - changes the format of values in "Seeds" and "Peers" columns of the torrents list.
22. Unpack -- Unrars and Unzips downloaded torrents.

- wish i had the technical know how .... lol im not downing the transmissions plugin at all .. it works and its fairly stable and everyone knows how to use it .... this would be so much better in my opinion. I need to just buckle down n learn linux :wink: life would be so much easier ... lol
instead of waiting for microsoft to add functionality to there os and addons or trying to hack things together to make it do what i want ,just edit linux to DO WAT I WANT on WHAT I WANT.. u just cant fight it lol (atleast when ur a nerd u cant) :slap:
ive read and seen post about getting rturrent running on rDn but adding rutorrent gui and plugins is just over my head ... and a commandline torrent client would def be a step back in time from transmissions lol (in the scope of readynas) - In case anyone is interested: I have a first working version of the ruTorrent add-on ready. Includes rtorrent, ruTorrent and all ruTorrent plugins as well as all needed libs, but you need to have PHP installed for the WebGUI to work.

- I'm currently on the road without access to my build environment. Once I'm back I'll publish a version of the finished add-on. This may however take another week or two, depending on how long I'll be tied up here.

- are there any way of implementing user auth with this ? i know the program it's self dosent have any built in authentication but it being openly accessible scares me .. tho it seems to run great been using it for a while now and i love it
- About what part of the package are you talking here? rtorrent itself shouldn't be accessible from the outside - at least not the management interface - since that is communicating through a local socket. As for the web interface: this can be secured by adding some statements to it's configuration file so to have it require the same credentials as Frontview would.
