SMB1
So I'm hoping someone has run into this issue before and has an answer.
I have a ReadyNAS 1500 running RAIDiator 4.2.31. We were using a few shares with SMB1. I followed steps list in this posting https://community.netgear.com/t5/ReadyNAS-in-Business/SMB1/td-p/1261727. to be more secure.
I made the changes through Putty to ./etc/samba/smb.conf.
Rebooted the ReadyNAS and now can't access the shares.
I also tried to login back into the ReadyNAS through Putty and once I enter the credentials Putty closes.
Any ideas?
The Frontview is up and running on the ReadyNas.

Are you using root as the username?

Stephen, you ever have one of "those days"?
Yesterday was mine. Thanks.
You are correct, even though I had used root as the username earlier to modify the file, later I forgot about it apparently.
