Spotify plugin for Squeezebox Server is out! but...

it's good news a spotify plugin was created:

unfortunately, this does not work on ReadyNAS Duo (essentially because libspotify only is provided for linux-libc6 x86 architectures)
it's disappointing :(
anyone here having an idea about how this should progress? is there anything to do to overcome these limitations?

- Have the same problem. Really looking forward to this feature!
- So it looks like Spotify have no plans to support ReadyNAS Duo users which is a big shame.

Steve - A guy got Spotify working (of sorts) on an Xtreamer IIRC, can't remember the exact details of it but he did get some joy with it.
Clearly they are different sets of hardware, and each will have different limitations, but the code/scripts were produced once he got it working successfully, which might be of use if some *anorak has the ability to put something together.
*Anorak is a term of affection. Promise! Lol :D - So any update on this?
