Hello, Super-Poussin removed the SVN add-on and I was hoping someone (or Super-Poussin) could please update it and bring it back. What was outdated with the old one anyway? I ask because I really don't want to manually enable Root SSH and go through all the steps (I've got a few machines I need to do it on).Thanks in advance,Nexus2

Me too please! I've been able to hack it, but I always worry that it will be lost when I do an upgrade, since I didn't do it as a propper add-on.

yoh-dah suggested to me that I should request this SVN addon, but looks like you already have.How can we bring this attention to superpoussin or anyone else willing to develop this for the community?But you definately have my vote for a user friendly way to manage a SVN server using a frontview addon.The NAS I own is ReadyNas Duo - nto sure if that effects how the addon is developed.Warren :)

I actually bought my ReadyNAS with the knowledge it was possible to run svn on it! 8) But Im not looking forward to the current way of setting it up (root etc). If the old svn plugin were to be updated I for one would be extremely greatful!CheersHairy

My ReadyNAS is using SVN 1.4.2 hosting using FILE mode.

I looked up my config file (/etc/frontview/apache/addons/subversion.conf) and I used
<Location /svn>
DAV svn
SVNPath /c/whatever
AuthType Basic
AuthName "My ReadyNAS Subversion Repository"
Require valid-user
</Location>

I didn't try to make it spiffy with group access.

it was the first release I do a long time ago , some users were not happy with it so I remove it

1.4.2 is good for me. I just wish it had a minimum interface in FrontView and make it "safe" for upgrades. (db stored in safe place)

Personally Im looking forward to a 1.6.5 build, the latest and greatest. :wink:

That is, if I can get my FrontView working again. I cant access the webpage anymore, although I CAN access the BitTorrent Download Manager. But thats all in another thread.

So you will only release the addon if you can get it working with 1.6.5 (which is the latest Subversion release) ?

If this is the case hopefully you can get it working - as i really would love to get this up and running soon :)
