[Super-Poussin] Sabnzbd request

- frejacAspirantSo, I've been very happy with my SABnzbd for quite some time now. Runs really well.
I start it with:
./etc/init.d/sabnzbd start &
How do one make it to start automatically when the device is rebooted?
Last time I put some effort into it, I ran a command that made links to my start-script in
/etc/rcX.d/
But that did not help...
So..what can I do to solve it.
Please help :) - That's quite simple.
just make a symlink in /etc/rc3.d/ to your entry in /etc/init.dln -s /etc/init.d/sabnzbd /etc/rc3.d/S05sabnzbd
- skylervmAspirantHas there been any progress on turning this into an addon?

Doesn't look like that will happen any time soon, maybe we should upgrade to Qnap if we really want to have this as an addon.
Edit: There even is a specific sub-forum (registration required) to discuss Sabnzbd complete with people complaining why it isn't updated to 0.4.12 yet ;) - *edit*
Thanks to this posting: http://forums.sabnzbd.org/index.php?top ... 8#msg23218
I got the current RC3 up and running! - StarlightNo1AspirantI am trying to install it on the NVX for the last two days (linux n00b). I used the DUO guide and the posting of "gknippels" to get it to work: http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=61&t=33669&p=185834&hilit=SABNZBD+again#p185834
Unfortunately i cant get it to work because packages zlib1g-dev and libssl-dev will not install.
apt-get install zlib1g-dev
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
zlib1g-dev: Depends: zlib1g (= 1:1.2.3-13) but 1:1.2.3.3.dfsg-12 is to be installed
apt-get install libssl-dev
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
libssl-dev: Depends: libssl0.9.8 (= 0.9.8c-4etch4) but 0.9.8g-15+lenny3 is to be installed
Depends: zlib1g-dev but it is not going to be installed
Searching the internet for a guide to install Sabnzbd on the ReadyNAS NVX / PRO doesn't give any result. Also no add-in is (yet) available. Can someone provide us / me with a good guide or add-in to install Sabnzbd on the PRO? - StarlightNo1Aspirant

I ll second that! How did you eventually get it to work? - plattenAspirantI would be interested at throwing some money at having a SABNnzbd+ addon for my Readynas Ultra.
- WhoCares_MentorIf it's in the 7 digits range we have a deal ;)
Actually, it shouldn't be too hard to do. I just never looked at it for a) I'm not into torrents really and b) the request got out specifically to Super-Poussin.
-Stefan - tristan1AspirantStill very interested, even if you did it Stefan;) Though don't know what torrents have to do with this request?
