Ok, so let's talk about the 7 digits then ... :-Dtristan wrote: Though don't know what torrents have to do with this request?
I've been too tired to watch my typing. As with Transmission (which is for torrents) SABnzbd+ (and accordingly, nzb's over usenet) is mostly used for downloading stuff you'd otherwise have to buy. So I used "torrents" as a synonym for that although I know that that's not correct and both systems can be used in a perfectly legal way, too.

- tristan1AspirantWow, that was fast! Any chance this will be available on the NV+ as well?
- WhoCares_MentorWell, that depends on the state of the 7-digits-payment negotiation ;)
And in earnest: getting it to work on the NV+ may be a bit harder than building the stuff for the Intel line. So I really don't know yet. Even if I made it work there, speeds will most likely be close to unbearable, especially for unpacking the downloaded stuff.
-Stefan - accident12123Aspirantif you had python2.6 which was easy to compile, then you could easily add couchpotato and sickbeard which combined with sabnzbd makes it the lazy persons dream.
- WhoCares_MentorWell, building a Python 2.6 add-on shouldn't be too hard either - not sure whether it's actually needed. Any pointers to couchpotato and sickbeard? It's been ages since I looked at sickbeard and never looked at couchpotato at all.
-Stefan - WhoCares_Mentor@tristan: Satisfied now? -> SABnzbd for the NV(+)/Duo/... users able to stand completely degraded performance ;-)
- hidefdogAspirantStefan,
Thank you for this add-on. I had to rename both "/etc/default/sabnzbdplus.dpkg-new" and "/etc/init.d/sabnzbdplus.dpkg-new" to just be "sabnzbdplus"
I also did a "apt-get install python-pyopenssl" to get the ssl web interface and the ability to use ssl usenet servers working properly.
With those minor tweaks, it is working great now. Thanks again! - WhoCares_MentorStrange. Did you have another version of SABnzbd installed using apt-get before installing the add-on? Anyway, glad it works for you.

Who knows :) I've tried several times off and on over the last year to install it. Never with much success. So, that could have been some remnant.
Thanks!
