Sync time with large files
We are currently using many Readynas NVX and the Egnyte Local Cloud. We generally transfer very large files/folder and could be anywhere from 100mb to 1GB. Our Engyte addon is set to sync every 15 min...

Hi Grimmleafer,
So typically we see 2 common scenarios for file sync depending on your internet bandwidth.
If you have fast reliable internet and bandwidth isn't an issue, I'd say stick with the 15 min sync interval. Syncs are prioritized by queue and no sync gets "overwritten". So even if there are 8-10 syncs queued, it will all eventually push through (depending on internet speed).
Now if you have slower internet speed and bandwidth is an issue (the 8-10 syncs are lagging behind), then I'd suggest you do a off-business hour daily sync. We've seen a few businesses that do a scheduled evening sync to minimize bandwidth usage during business hours. The only downside to this approach is that obviously any file edits and changes happen off-line during business hours and won't sync (appear) till the next day. This method halts collaboration quite a bit, so if that is a requirement, then you're better off with the first scenario.
Hope that helps :)
