Transmission 2.42 Performance Problem
I have a strange performance problem that I can't make heads and tails of. Maybe anybody have any ideas,? What I see is that shortly after I start Transmission I get decent DL speed and UL speeds, ...

So, for as long as you are asking the tracker for new peers, you can download fast and you will upload to the peers that you are downloading from. However, incoming connections get blocked, so others will not connect to you. Eventually, this reduces the amount of peers you are connected to and with that, your download and upload speed.
